Fishing Report for July 7

Hello from Panama,
Last report from the last 2 days of fishing with Mark and Peggy Rose and their friends James and Joanne Hardin.  Day 3 started off with a bang.  James caught and released his first Black Marlin.  Estimated weight,  450lbs.  Congrats James:):)  After that they came back near shore for some more of the hot rooster bite where they caught a little of everything.
Day four was slow in the beginning,  but after the previous 3 days,  it wasn’t to painful.  But,  at the end of the day on their way back home,  they stopped off for a bit more live baiting the point and caught 2 huge Cubera Snappers.
Since day four was the 4th of July,  we threw a big BBQ in the rancho next to the beach,  had a fantastic fireworks show and a great time was had by all.  Great food and great company.  Only in Panama can you have a fireworks show like that right in the front yard:)
Well.  these guys are hooked, ( no pun intended )  and are planning their next trip back to Hooked on Panama Lodge:):)  We look forward to having them back.
Got a new group arriving today,  so I will have more reports on the way.
Tight Lines,
Dan Peavy
