Fishing Report for January 26th
Another fun week at Hooked on Panama Lodge.
This week we had 3 different groups. Brett & Tracy Comas fishing with Mark and Toni Brown on Captain Victors boat. Stan Shewchuck and crew fishing with Captain Carlos. And, Dennis Granberry with his friend Jim Henderson fishing with Captain Chaka.
It was a pretty good week even with the full moon. Total of 24 Sails with shots at many more. 10 Rock Snappers and 2 big Cubera Snappers. A little of the action below:) You have to check out the photo of the whole fried rock snapper with the lime wedge in his mouth. Margot, the chef with the most, was getting a little artsy:) It was by far, the hit of the week.
Brett, Tracy, Mark and Toni are planning to return when the tuna bite cranks up later this season. Dennis and Jim are planning their return next season. The Canadian farm boys said they were going to have to save up for a couple of years:):)
The fishing continues to improve and we got a new group coming in tonight, so in a few days, I’ll have another report for you.
