Fishing Report for January 17th

We had Wim, Edwin and Kim from the Netherlands. Wim has been fishing with us for several years now. They fished with Captain Victor and Mate Jacinto on the Chiricana for 3 days. They landed 1 sail, 3 black marlins and 4 blue marlins biggest one estimated at 500lbs average over all between 250lb and 300lb! They also landed 15 yellow fin tuna and raised 8 sail, 11 marlin majority blues, 24 yellow fin tuna and a whole lot more dorados. Good going Wim and friends. See you next year!

The gates, weighing as much as 700 elephants each, opened slowly like the entrance to King Kong’s Village. I’d come with my crew to spend a week at the aptly named Hooked on Panama Lodge. A week of intense sport punctuated by guilt free napping, fresh homemade food, cold drinks and people as warm as the tropical sun to help enjoy it all.

Yeehaw!!! Here we go again. Another report from Hooked on Panama Lodge. We have Mike ( the warden ) and his lovely bride Brenda ( AKA the Fish Goddess ) fishing with us this week. They did 5 days total with some days off in between. It was a great week.

This week we had 3 different groups. Brett & Tracy Comas fishing with Mark and Toni Brown on Captain Victors boat. Stan Shewchuck and crew fishing with Captain Carlos. And, Dennis Granberry with his friend Jim Henderson fishing with Captain Chaka.
