We had a family from Ukraine here with us. Mykola, Iryna and Nazar, and Sergii, Iryna ans Stepani. They fished with Captain Chaka and Mate Carlos and Captain Oliver and Mate Carlito.
Released 1 marlin – 20 mahimahi – 5 roosters – 7 sailsfish – 1 pargo and 1 shark
They raised 33 mahimahi – 4 marlin and 33 sails combined. They were doing all their own hookups.

We just had two CCA groups here with us Scott Shaheen and friends Murry, Herb and Robin from CCA San Antonio and Steve Bartholomew with Bruce, Chet and good oll Jim from CCA Austin. They weren’t slaying the fish but had good quality.
Here we go again at HOOKED ON PANAMA. We had Jack Bispham and Libby Carlene here for two days on a working vacation. Jack looking to take Rooster Fish off his bucket list. We took care of that the first morning with three nice Roosters.
We have Roxanne from Texas with us and she just finished 2 1/2 days of fishing with Captain Oliver and mate Carlito. Connie Hudson, one of the partners here, fished with Roxanne for the first 2 days. On day 1, they raised 30 sails and released 5. 2 of them over a 100lbs.
Got a group with us from Brazil. First day out was productive. 12 roosters released with twice that many lost. 3 sail fish in the spread managed to release 1. Many tuna in the 30lb. to 50lb. range with 1 weighing in at 131lbs. Hooked up and broke off many more.
For the 4th of July, we threw a big BBQ in the rancho next to the beach, had a fantastic fireworks show and a great time was had by all. Only in Panama can you have a fireworks show like that right in the front yard:)
Dennis, Greg and Steve our Jersey Boys fishing again with us for their 3rd time with Oliver and Carlito. Steve brought along his spinning rod and landed a estimated 125lb Y-fin on a popper.
